LADY ASHTON

Chef Lady Ashton Warren is a revered NYC-based pastry chef and burlesque dancer.  Her career began when she took a hostess job at Restaurant Marc Forgione, though soon eough she was asked to help the chef out with a chocolate cake recipe, and Lady Ashton’s Chocolate Cake became one of the most popular desserts on the menu — allowing her to move into the Executive Pastry Chef position. During her time as pastry chef at Marc Forgione, the restaurant received 2 stars from the NY Times and consecutive years of Michelin Star recognition. Since leaving the restaurant, Lady Ashton has become a pastry consultant and Pastry chef at different restaurants and bakeries throughout NYC.  Throughout the pandemic, Ashton took the opportunity to launch her online bakery— offering custom desserts, monthly pastry subscriptions, catering, and holiday gift boxes. Currently, she’s the Chef of The Fragile Flour— the East Village vegan dessert & wine bar. Ashton has been a vegetarian since 2007, cornering the market on creating delicious treats to accommodate all dietary restrictions— as she believes everyone deserves dessert.
